19 of Medvedev's twenty-one championships have been achieved on hardcourt
A resurgent Medvedev won his maiden championship for over two years with victory over Frenchman Moutet in the tournament championship match.
The Russian, a ex- number one, has had a challenging season, managing just one match at the Grand Slams and undergoing a setback at the American major.
Medvedev's varied form on the professional circuit - and difficulties with his service game in particular - caused him dropping out of the world's top 10 and finally separating with long-time mentor Cervara.
Presently collaborating with his coach and Goetzke, the tennis star has consistently advanced in the last few weeks - climaxing in a tightly fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 victory over Frenchman Moutet.
It is Medvedev's initial title following the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hard court after March of that year.
Victory also signifies Medvedev has achieved 21 championships at 21 different competitions.
"For the first time I'm at a event with my both daughters simultaneously, so to win a trophy is particularly special," stated world number 14 Medvedev.
"This title is in honour of my younger daughter her name, because the maiden victory I got when my first daughter her name was born was for her."
The tennis star, the former major winner, had failed in his past six championship matches, comprising in Halle in the past months.
The player's defensive play style and frequent outbursts on the tennis court had led observers to wonder if his skill to perform at the elite level was over.
However the athlete has implemented adjustments in the last few weeks, striving to come to the net and play positively, supported by an improved serving game.
Medvedev recovered from a break down in the opening set against the challenging Frenchman, winning four of the concluding five points to go ahead.
Both players exchanged break points in the following set before the challenger, striving for his first professional title, seized the initiative to create a third set.
Moutet saved four early-game break points in a tight final set before the Russian secured a break to that score to secure the win.
Suitably, the winner clinched the win with a rally at the net area, with his opponent incapable to control a return after a lengthy match.
